RANDALL "RANDY" KEITH BAKER

 Randall "Randy" Keith Baker (“Squirrel”) of Big Stone Gap, VA, passed away on August 31, 2024 at age 72. 
      Born on December 24, 1951 in Wise County, VA, he was a caring husband of 51 years to Barbara Lynn Baker and a loving father to Felica Baker Torres of Stafford, VA.
      Randy was a hard-working truck driver and excellent mechanic until he retired. He enjoyed spending time fishing "trying to catch the big one", playing guitar and watching football every chance he could.

     Randy was preceded in death by his parents Albert Baker, Jr. and Opal Massengill Baker; grandmother Edna Massengill; aunt and uncle, Phyllis Massengill Dalton and Don Dalton.
      Randy is survived by his wife, Barbara Baker; daughter, Felica Torres and son-in-law, Paul Torres; grandchildren, Anthony Torres, Bella Torres and Brandon Torres; brothers, Larry Baker and Terry Baker; cousins, Todd Dalton, Barry Dalton, Chris Dalton; and many other extended family members and close family friends who will miss him very much.   

     The family finds comfort in knowing Randy's legacy lives on through the lessons he taught them, the love he shared, the jokes he told and the memories they have to cherish forever.   
      The family will receive friends Saturday, September 7, 2024 from 1:00 - 3:00 PM at Gilliam Funeral Home, 618 Wood Ave., W. Big Stone Gap, VA.  The service will follow at 3:00pm with Dr. Lonnie Brooks officiating.

      In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to a charity of your choice.
