JIMMY HOWARD ROGERS, SR

Jimmy Howard Rogers, Sr. was born July 2, 1951, in Lee County, Virginia and passed away January 31, 2024, at home on Cliff Mountain, Scott County, Virginia.

Jimmy was a retired Coal Miner and a current employee of O'Reilly Auto Parts. He was an antique collector. He loved farming and gardening and outdoor activities. He was loved by everyone who knew him.

Jimmy was preceded in death by his parents, Steve and Marie (Phillips) Rogers and a stepson, Stephen Caudill.

He is survived by his wife Sandra Vernon Rogers. His children and stepchildren, Jimmy Rogers, Jr., Wayne Rogers, Candra Rogers, Georgia Caudill, James Caudill, Sandra Cornett, Nevena Huffaker. Sisters and Brothers, Charles Rogers, Margaret Minton, Claude Rogers and Wanda Rogers. Several Grandchildren, Great Grandchildren, Nieces, and Nephews.

The family received friends on Saturday, February 3, 2024, at Holding Funeral Home from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Funeral services were conducted on Sunday, February 4, 2024, at 1:00 p.m. in the funeral homes chapel; Bill Barnette and Stephen Vernon officiated. Graveside service followed in the Minton Cemetery, Cliff Mountain, Duffield, VA.

Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
