Clara Williams Richardson, 87, of Lowell, IN passed away Monday, January 22, 2024.
Clara was a loving mother who enjoyed cooking, spending time with family, reading and traveling. She worked several jobs but one of her favorites was cooking for Maid-Rite in Hammond, Indiana. She grew up in Appalachia, Virginia and never lost her love for the mountains and friends & family from her hometown. She had an enormous heart and wonderful sense of humor which she shared by telling jokes and stories of her life. She is loved and will be greatly missed.
Preceded in death by her husband, James; son, Chris; granddaughter, Hannah; mother Jane and father Hugh.
She is survived by her children, James (Kerry), Cole (Sherri), Dean, Jane (Matt) Richardson-Kobus, Mark, Diana (Jeff) Gates, Matthew (Tammy), Arlie; grandchildren, Sarah (Marcus) Jenkins, Natalie, Julia, Austin (Lauren), Kyle, Mark Jr. (Sarah), Taylor (Nina) LeVine, Tyler, Brian, Alexander Kobus, Ivy, Luke, Lilly, Ryker; great grandchildren, Eternity, Molly, Nora, Charlotte, Weston; siblings, Linda (Michael) Hardy, Sherman (Jennifer) Williams.
Visitation was Saturday, January 27 from 11 a.m. - 1 p.m. Funeral Service followed at 1 p.m., all at Sheets Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 604 E Commercial Ave, Lowell, IN 46356.
