DARRELL DEAN BARKER

Darrell Dean Barker, of Big Stone Gap, passed away Friday, July 9, 2021, at Holston Valley Medical Center.

Darrell was a certified electrician, machinist, had attended two colleges and was an avid reader. His hobbies were photography, singing and playing his guitar.

He was preceded in death by his father, Willard Barker; his mother, Gladys (Seymour) Barker; his sister, Arlena Beason and his brother, Denny Barker.

Darrell is survived by his siblings, Shirley Barker, Vedis Barker (Audrey), Casson Donovan and Sharon Rollins (Jerry) all of Big Stone Gap, Darwin Barker (Carolyn) of Gastonia, NC, Mary Stevenson (Spencer) of Freemont, CA and Stephen Barker of Hawaii and several nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be announced at a later date.
