MARGARET SUSANNE (SUSIE) BELL

Margaret Susanne (Susie) Bell, 70, of Princeton, WV, died Monday, July 5, 2021, at Princeton Community Hospital following a long illness.

Born June 28, 1951, in Appalachia VA., she was the daughter of the late Ernest Jack Young and Betty Jane Wallace Young. She was a graduate of Powell Valley High School and had attended Clinch Valley College as well as Bluefield State College.

Susie had retired from Southern Highlands Community Mental Health Center as Director of IT with 34 years of service. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and sister. While her health permitted, she enjoyed traveling, going to band competitions to support her daughter and granddaughter. Susie was an animal lover, enjoyed going to the beach, and reading.

Survivors include her husband of 47 years, David Lee Bell; Daughter, Melissa Forbes of Bluefield, WV; Step-son, David Ernie Bell and wife Michelle of Myrtle Beach SC; Grandchildren, Mia Christ, Morgan Forbes, Payton Forbes and Bridgette Bell; Two siblings, Jackie McGee of Princeton, Sonny Young and wife Marilyn of Big Stone Gap VA, and several nieces and nephews.

A time of sharing and gathering will be held Friday, July 16 from 4 P.M. until 6 P.M. at the Memorial Funeral Directory on the Athens Road in Princeton.
