Tuesday, June 8 The Lonesome Pine Hospital Ladies Auxiliary met at the Visitor’s Center in Big Stone Gap for a luncheon meeting. Brian Falin, the Appalachia coordinator for the town’s Great American Cleanup anti-litter campaign, poses Saturday with another volunteer. More than 150 volunteers took to the roads, streams and woods to clean up litter in Appalachia, Big Stone Gap, Coeburn, Norton, Pound, St. Paul and Wise.
