Friday Night Jams returns

Nickelsville's Allen Hicks will resume his Friday Night Jams, Friday, April, 23 with gospel music. Doors open at 6 p.m. Social distancing will be required as well as face masks. No concessions will be served. Musicians of all ages and abilities are invited to rejoin the Hicks' family at their Fri­day Jams. Located at 1844 Bethel Road Nickelsville, 276/479-2739.

Run the Tunnel April 24

The 3.8 mile Run the Tunnel at Natural Tunnel State Park is now scheduled to be held this year, Saturday, April 24.

Natural Tunnel State Park

• May 1, 8, and 22 - 9 a.m. - Spring Bird Walks Join volunteer Randy Smith to with an easy guided bird walk. Binoculars and field guides will not be available due to Covid restrictions, so guests are encouraged to bring their own. The hike will take place on the Birding and Wildlife Trail, sturdy shoes are recommended. Meet at the Blockhouse Parking Lot. Free.
