March for Babies raises $12,000 to date

At this year's annual March of Dimes March for Babies, held Saturday at Bullitt Park, volunteers raised enough in pledges to bring total donations...

Pumpkin Eater, Swamp Witch and Mr. Grim are part of the terror you can encounter at the Haunted Forest on the Mountain Empire Community College campus beginning Oct. 9. The forest will be open each Friday and Saturday from 7-11 p.m. Admission is $5 per person. Casual clothing and comfortable shoes are recommended.
