New service comes to Appalachia

Lonesome Pine Regional Library announces an easier way to borrow, with an electronic locker placed at Appalachia Town Hall. Use this convenient service to pick up your books from 8:00 am – 4:00 pm Monday-Friday! (Note: During the summers, the town hall will close at 12:00 pm on Friday.)

Use of lockers is available to any patron with a library card. To obtain a library card, visit www.lprlibrary.org. To reserve materials for locker pick-up, call 276/328-8325, ext. 107.

The funding for these projects is allocated in part from the COVID CARES Act through the Institute of Museum and Library Services and administered by the Library of Virginia.
